The Point of Inflection in Time

December 22, 1999

I suspect that we may be at the point of inflection on the curve of the great sweep of history - at the exact midpoint of a phase change. From a state of Nature to one of Meta-Nature. A transformation which when viewed from a great enough distance in time, over a wide enough span of millennia, will seem more like a quantum leap; like a square wave form on an oscilloscope. But when one zooms in, is seen as an S curve, or if one only sees the first half of it, as a log curve, with a vertical asymptote at the millennium, or most precisely on the full moon at perigee on the solstice this morning.
